Eniko qualified as a conductor-teacher at the Peto Institute in 1995. She started her early career in the National Institute of Conductive Education, Birmingham, where she worked for two years, then deciding to relocate back to Hungary, where she worked in remote areas in North East Hungary as a travelling conductor. She was then asked to join the team at The Rainbow Centre for Conductive Education in 2003, and she has now been there for 21 years. Eniko has always been passionate about working with children and their families and she passes this passion onto the team she works with, as the Children’s Service Manager. She has been a practise tutor for a number of years and takes an active part in teaching the future generations of conductors, which she thoroughly enjoys. Eniko is also delivering training for conductor assistants at Level 3. Eniko has recently gained qualifications in SEND Law and is now supporting families to succeed in Education Health and Care needs assessments for their children. She was an SEN governor of a large Primary School for over 6 years and now she would like to support the community of professionals within the field of conductive education, and she is excited to chair the PCA committee.

Gitu qualified as a Conductor Teacher in 2024 at the Pető Institute in Hungary and she joined The Rainbow Centre in the UK in September 2024, where she continues to work today. She leads conductive sessions across the nursery and school booster groups throughout the week and runs Saturday clubs focused on supporting teenagers with neurodiversity. She is passionate about her role as a conductor and firmly believes in the life-changing potential of Conductive Education. This belief motivates her commitment to the Association, where she is a newly joined member, and is excited to contribute to advocating and promoting Conductive Education around both the UK and world-wide.

After qualifying as a conductor in 2006, Annamaria worked with children, young people and adults in sessional services. Then in 2013, she sat up Conductive Enablement primarily working with people with Parkinson’s. In 2016, Annamaria joined the Conductive College Team, teaching and supervising both under- and post- graduate students. Currently she is the course lead on the BA (Hons) in Conductive Education degree, which is delivered in partnership with Birmingham City University. In her dual role of practitioner and lecturer, Annamaria is invested in strengthening the theory-praxis link in CE. Training and development have always played a significant role for Annamaria, she has been a registered and active member of the PCA since it was formed. She gained a Master’s degree in Special and Inclusive Education and her doctoral thesis offered a theoretical exploration of contemporary Conductive Education philosophy and conductors’ professional identity. Annamaria hopes to serve the conductive community effectively as a proud member of the PCA Committee.
